Events

Danie (he's the guy who manages Noorspoort Guest Farm) recently hosted about 120 people for two weeks. That meant food and accommodation for all of them as well! He quickly sent out an SOS to his Mom Anna-Marie to handle the catering, while he handled most of the rest. Anyway, to make a long story short, everything went off well and there were no insurmountable hitches like insufficient water or major electrical failures.

Renewable water source

We live in times where much emphasis is being placed on preserving the integrity and sustainability of our natural resources, the absence of pollution, and so on. The main water source to Noorspoort Guest Farm makes for an interesting case study. The water is derived subterraneously from near the miracle rock formation of Draaikrans. Draaikrans is located above a sandy river bed in a natural amphitheater. This means that every time the river (Pienaarspoort river) runs, the water soaks in deeply below the  river bed, thus refilling the water reserves.

Problems with missing keys?

I am sure you have sporadically had the same experience: that of losing an important key(s) and then having to go through all the frustration and stress associated with wasted time, extra costs, and so on.
