This intensive course will be held at Noorspoort Guest Farm from 17 to 21 January 2011. The course fee of R 1850 includes everything: accommodation, meals, refreshments and notes, as well as a veld / game trip on Wednesday afternoon, 19 January 2011.

The contents of the course cover a summary of the Grade 12 curriculum plus additional first year university / college material. This means that the course should enable you to ease more easily and successfully into the rigorous requirements of first year maths.

5. Functions and graphs; reading of graphs

6. Graphs: straight lines and parabolas

7. Polynomial functions. Division, equations, inequalities

8. Absolute values

9. Radials; trigonometric functions and graphs

10. Trigonometric identities

11. Introduction to limits; rules and formulae

12. Examples of limits

13. Introduction to differentiation; differentiation from definitions

14. More differentiation
